Keywords are named abilities that belong to each Champion. They activate at random times during battle, and certain Champions' Signature Abilities and Special Attacks have a fixed percentage on when an ability activates. The effect of these abilities can only be increased by Ranking Up.

Certain keywords are exclusive to certain Champions (for example, Unstoppable can only be found on Unstoppable Colossus or Juggernaut). However, every Champion has at least one keyword.

Armor Break is a keyword that can break the Armor of Armored Champions (such as Juggernaut, Rhino, or Colossus). Armor Break prevents Armor from preventing damage. Armor Break is an effective counter to Armored Champions.

Armor Up is a keyword found on most Armored Champions. Armor Up can prevent additional damage stacked onto damage prevention provided from natural Armor.

Bleed

Bleed is a keyword found on Champions who use swords or other sharp weapons. However, Bleed can also be found on Champions who do not use swords, such as Ultron and his drones.
